Hello!

Hello! My name is Em and I am an audio producer based in North Herts.

As a graduate in media production, my experience already includes broadcast radio, podcast production and sound design for audio drama. Some of my projects include a documentary on a local arts project, a podcast series about trans identity and an audio drama about Scottish Mythology.

I also love theatre and currently teach at TheatreTrain in North Herts, as well as being the Head of Drama at Camp Alleghany for Girls in 2023.

I’m currently studying for an MA in audio production as well as working on my fiction podcast Empyrean, with series one currently releasing on podcast platforms!

Empyrean is an independently produced ethereal-fantasy fiction podcast. I work as the producer, editor and sound designer for this project in collaboration with writer and creator Mae Gaynor. Series 1 was recorded in January 2025 and is currently releasing on Tuesdays and Fridays with plans for series 2 in devlopment for 2026.

Euphoric is a podcast series about the joys to be found in the trans experience. I created this podcast at univeristy as a response to the negative representations of the trans community in the media

While I was an intern at FUBAR Radio, I predominally worked on Politics Uncensored where I recorded vox pops for social media, sourced audio clips for the shows and created promotional trails for the station.

Hildaland is an audio drama about Scottish Mythology which I made as my final major univeristy project. It tells the story of a young girl called Jean investigating the island where her grandmother lives and uncovering the mysteries of the creatures who live there.
